Should I have my old book restored?
I have a book, 365 Bedtime Stories by Nan Gilbert, published by Whitman publishing in 1955. It's in rough shape, beat up, pages torn out, but I love it and will not part with it. Should I have it restored? What are the risks involved? Is there a down side? About what will it cost? (It's about 390 pgs.) Thanks!
If there are actually missing pages then I'm not sure it can be restored. If it's only from 1955 you may be able to buy another copy of it. Do a search for it on e-bay or maybe some antique book site or dealer. Good luck!
