Are there certain sounds that make you feel peaceful?
for me: train whistle in the distance...wind chimes...rain falling down...etc.
You've already named three of my favourite things. Then, wind whispering in branches. Mourning doves. The soft sleep murmurs of my cat in my quiet office. Rain tinkling in the downspouts. I VERY much liked oceananemonie, (although it's not a sound.) Reminds me of: "Silence is the first herald of joy." Lovely question. I know that many people love the sound of the ocean, but while beautiful--it's too mysterious & vast to be peaceful, for me. I wonder if you ever "hear" things in what you SEE. If sunrise & sunset have voices to you, gliding clouds--things like that....
