which is better lionel o scale trains or ho scale?
ive been interested in model railroading and railroad history ever since i was little ive got lionel stuff i want you to answer and give your opinion
I've been model railroading since about 1972... we had a lionel O loop to start... but then moved to HO scale for the simple reason that we could put more in our limited space (Mom's just don't seem to get it).
We built up an HO layout over two 4x8 sheets of plywood that lasted until my Dad donated it to some YOUNG neighbor kids in 1998.
ANYWAY, I STRONGLY prefer HO scale over O. A FAR wider selection, less expense, and twice the "railroad" per area.
CURRENTLY, I'm working in N-scale which is getting ALMOST as popular as HO... and gives twice the area as HO !! I have a HUGE Yard based on Stockton, California and it's surrounding industries.
GOOD LUCK !!
