Where can I find extremely inexpensive art, like old student work from a beginning painting/3-d studio class?
I'm using "found art" in my art and I need paintings or other kinds of 2-d or even 3-d art which I will be manipulating to make it my own and get my point across. Sorry, I can't tell you the idea. For 2-d art, landscapes or scenery are preferable, large or smale scale, and for 3-d, ceramics are preferable, large or small scale. These works need to be things that are not "bad" art, rather stuff that no one cares about anymore.
Well, yard sales, garage sales, and estate sales are good places to find older art that most people don't want anymore. There are also flea markets and starving artist's sales that might have the kind of art you are looking for.
