is it already out there? super charger w/ a electric motor.?
so we know a super charger has a belt that is turned by the crank shaft, is there anyway to use a crank position sensor and an electric motor, wouldnt this give the motor more power than the belt driven supercharger? this way the crank isnt bogged down with spinning the belt and charger.
A electric motor of the size you would need wouldn't be effective. Your talking a huge draw.
There is always turbo. It runs off of waste. Turbo is the most efficient. Unless you consider Nitrous in the mix.
