What's the best GPS for a Tractor Trailer driver and why?

My dad's a tractor trailer driver and he was wondering what the best GPS system is for a driver like himself. A reason why it's the best would be appreciated

I am a truck driver and I utilize a GPS too. I think the bottom line is preference. Price Range, Do you want a visual screen or an interactive touch pad screen...do you want it to stick on your window or do want it mounted...also do you want it North American wide or just US...these are the questions you need to ask. My GPS is made by Brada and I paid about $400 Canadian for it. It has a touchpad screen which is interactive with voice prompts and has maps from all of North America. It is fed by 9-11 Satellites at any one given time. Anyways I hope this helps.

Specialized tires were initially built to dramatically increase the performance for F1 and NASCAR racer cars. Nowadays, there are even different tires to consider for the various types of tractors. The differences do not stop in the variation of the model of vehicle you own. There are specialized tires developed to increase the performance tractors as well. There are tires built for tractors that are tube-types or with body cords, or have rayon belt that run around the tire.

In choosing a tire for a tractor, you can change the original size that came with the vehicle. There are operators who chose to go with larger tires to increase traction. There are tires that cause less slippage allowing a better pull and providing more power and traction to the machine. With tires that provide less slippage, speed can be increased by 10 to 15 percent.

High traction is important in tractor tires, when used on frozen terrain. With higher traction, the tractor is able to stay on the ground without fearing the possibility of the vehicle slipping on icy ground.

Price is always a factor in selecting parts to equip tractors. There are specialized tires that are only around $25 higher per set than conventional tires. However, there are some tires that go as high as $700 more than a regular set of tires. As expensive as this may sound, in most cases, the performance of the specialized tires allows you to earn back your expense. Some specialized tires outwear conventional tires for twice as long.
